Master Study 17

Maysketchaday 03

1 hour study of edgar payne's painting.. I am a sucker for his landscapes!

I felt that I was much more successful in trying to emulate the brush stroke this time around. But I think the grass patches definitely could be improved upon. Another thing to improve on...tomorrow!

2 hour study of edgar payne's painting.
I still am not able to emulate the beautiful texture that he did on this painting but will continue to try to do so on another study tomorrow!
