Forest of Stars

I was imagining a forest where there are stars of the world patterned on to the barks. In the forest lives a group of stargazers, readers of destinies and keepers of lore.They built an observatory in the effort to keep track and preserve the stars movement of the forest.

Something thats been in my mind for a long while now. Ended up tweaking the color and value to be darker than what it was originally planned, all in the effort to bring out the stars patterns on the tree and to mimic space.

This took longer than usual since I keep tweaking the value nonstop, still I feel unsatisfied even now with this piece. But its time to move on!

Musical of the deers

Supposed to be a quick painting, turned out to be a couple of days of paintings.

Imagining a forest with satyr playing music and the deer lord singing along as the rest of the deers watches them. At first I sketches the deer lord as a centaur until I saw a picture of a deer howling and I thought would be cool to see it singing to the music.

Was listening to bards tale 4 ost/playthrough as I painted this.

Cloudscape

Received Kimi No Na Wa Background Artbook from my friend.
Reading it gave me an excuse to paint sky, mountain and grassland!

I love painting clouds but its such a struggle, I really wanna get better at it.
