Trying to paint as little as possible by varying the brush sizes and being more efficient with the brush making.
I still could not control the texture well.

Focusing on the texture more but still out of time for the mountain.

I need to make things looks crispier but Im not sure how to, I guess I will be exploring some brushes to try it out in the next painting.

1 hour virtual plein air of The Eiger, Switzerland.

It paid off to plan early in the sketch how I was gonna block off the light and shadow and I managed to squeezed in about 10 minutes to try to play a bit with texturing the mountain.

Was focusing too much on selecting the color pallete I kinda went to the pitfall of forgetting my value structure..

A friend suggested to choose all the colors by eyeballing it and put it all into a separate canvas before starting to paint. I thought this makes it easier to control the value before I start but definitely something I should try again.

I was having hard time simplifying the subtle values on the far mountain. Definitely something I have to work on more on tomorrow!
