Some random after work/lunch practice. Practicing my speed, limited to 10-30 mins! Also experimenting on diff stuff, blending option etc.

Wohooo! Finally an update! Work has been crazy recently :D its fun though, to the point of me breaking down and laughing non stop!

This one is done when I was bored @ work. I apologize to the model, I will improve my skill and draw a much better picture of you next time. The photo was from 5sec face, a project that took place not long ago. Read more regarding the awesome project @ facebook! One of my friend, Annabella was featured in one of the photos :D



The next two was done for a weekly challenge done w friends :D Its based on ENRIQUE IGLESIAS's music entitled "FREE" that was assigned by my friend to me. This is my first time drawing a werewolf and my conclusion after was, "Holy mama, so much deterioration in my proportions!"

Woah... thats a hella long time since I had time to update!! Do pardon me but it had been totally crazy experince for the past month and two, I had finally entered the industry! Seriously, it was a thousand slap on the face, asking me to open my eyes and look at the reality!

Just some random practice sometime back. Figured I would post them up. I made it a point to stop once I reached 6 hours. Really need to upgrade my painting speed! I will do more soon!







I think I will go and paint the bottles! And, hopefully I could get a time to sketch the bags too, I had been playing with the concept around in my head. xD

Something that I dreamt about last night...

A woman who walks around the town in a raincoat or jacket, at times with umbrella, at times without umbrella. Wherever she walks, there the heaviest the rain falls.

After a long hiatus, here are two of my newest ventures in watercolor!





Both of them are based on photos that I found online. I just typed "Child" and "Sad Child" on google. Thanks for whomever it belongs to, they both are inspirational pieces!

Third one coming up soon, hopefully by tonight or tomorrow! Its a bit trickier, with theme of "adventure on dogs!" I had been wanting to do something like this for a long time...!

Hopefully, my lazy self could be motivated enough to also post up some missing works that I did during the hibernation period! :D

Updates! Finally!

But... I broke my promise... did not do a major one!

There are too many sketches that piled up from a week of not scanning in any >,< and me, too lazy to do a simple data transfer from my laptop to here.

(But... let me blame more of it to my desktop! :P And, I am now officially addicted to a few trilogies so blame those authors! :3)

Oh well, enough of my nonsense... Here are some random quick studies. Kris Allen (I prefer Danny tho), Ellen Degeneres and a few random J-actors from various drama that I was watching xD

Chinese brushes (Ink running out) + My fave ZIG pens (3.0 and 0.8) and "a little gameshark called" Correction Tape + 2H pencil and eraser + and finally, Photoshop!!

Yesterday I went to Ms. Junko's (She is my fine arts teacher from studio Miu.)exhibition @ 72 Loewen rd. She did abstract paintings of her personal studio located at the same location. It was very interesting when she explained to us, how she did the paintings and the reason behind it. Her paintings were like documentations of her day there. The colour she used represented her emotions and stuffs. It was really enlightening! She also used an interesting technique to paint the paintings! She actually stood in a place where she can see the shadow of the trees and flowers on the canvas, and traced them using paints.

She also exhibited her sketches, they were so darn beautiful! I really wanted to snatch them and escape with them xD Thank you teach! For inviting us to go to your exhibition! It was great!

Ah because of that (*uhum* plus my lazyness...) I only did one gesture, from watching Shiroi Haru again! Well, I guess its kind of a habit... I always need to keep my hands moving whenever I reading manga or watching...



Also, I posted up together with yesterday's update... Gestures from Shiroi Haru ep 4 and 5, result of today's itchy hands! [Sorry to bore you to death! I will post up something different tomorrow!]







Now, to something different. I drew it earlier, when I woke up from my slumber. I guess its the result of last night durian feast and l4d fiesta. I dreamt of watching someone botak (louis-lookalike), almost murdered when suddenly the murderer said, "Something is stink here..." and I just knew he meant durian. Then, I woke up xD It was amusing really...

Argh, strangle me, I had been watching Shiroi Haru for too long! Anyway here is today updates xD






All of it ,except for the randoom doodles on the second picture from below, are quick sketches from Shiroi Haru drama. It is a very nice drama and Abe Hiroshi acts really well! They have very nice lighting and it was fun to freeze frame the video and draw it!

Well, trying to get used of brush again and also to improve my skill with it. Thus, the third and fourth picture from below, were drawn with brush.
